My Second, First Computer Class...

It's the 17th of June, 2015.
It is supposedly our second day in Computer class but it turned out to be a long wait
and became the start of a first day with a new professor (who I think was cool, by the way).

I just failed my first quiz on the 2nd first day though so I hope it won't happen again. :P

On to our Activity...
So, we were asked to explore the computers at "FH-400C COMP LAB-E"...
and selfies of these guys below greeted me after the Desktop launched.

Sorry guys (whoever you are),
I enjoyed your selfies too much
I felt the need to include you in my first ever blog. LOL.

I like my computer’s Keyboard and Mouse.
We seem to have the latest version of Windows installed
and it looks like a genuine version so that’s pretty neat.
I tried to login to ELearn, but it wants my student Email and Password.
So I logged in to http://slmis.xu.edu.ph/  to fetch the information.
Then I went back to Elearn again, but to no avail.
Oh, the joys of technology when it does not work for you! :p
However, our school email is using the Google platform so I think it will be kewl. :)

The applications opened smoothly which is a far cry from Windows XP (Sorry XP).
I saw lots of unknown applications but I don't think we'll be discussing most of it in this class.
I hope I can get to upgrade my PC at home with Windows 8.1 but I think it will be expensive.

Moving on,
the PC's Date and Time settings on the the other hand, were not accurate.
Date is one day advanced and time is about 10 minutes advanced.
But, since we were not allowed to change any setting in the computer
I opted to report it to my professor.
Due to this though, my classmates went home early because they thought
it was "ALMOST" already 16:30...

Imagine the surprise on Prof. Gutierrez's  face when he arrived
to an empty lab with only 5-6 people left.
He looked at his watch and it was still 16:10 (blame it on the computer). Hahahaha

Fastforward to today though, June 23, 2015.
...now that my student email is working
I awarded myself with a knock in the head because apparently
I wasn't reading the instructions properly,
so no wonder it didn't work. LOL

Well, better luck on the next computer class to all of us. :D

...and here's a selfie of mine just to be fair.
Rest assured it's from my personal computer. Haha

Over and Out.
